About Solid in the Faith
- Who & What
- Susie Marcin is the writer of the Solid in the Faith resources. Her deepest commitment is to study the revelation of God (the Bible), to live it out in her own life, and to teach others to live its truths and ways (see Ezra 7:10). Solid in the Faith is an outward expression of Susie's deepest desire-to know God and to participate with God, through Jesus Christ our LORD in building a solid foundation based on the Gospel for this generation and the the generations to come.
- When & Why
- Susie's passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ, the One True God and Savior of the world, began in February of 2006 when, after over 20 years of alcoholism and drug addiction brought her to her knees and she realized her foundation was sinking sand. Since that time, God has been infusing her with a deep love for His Word and a strong desire to write what He whispers into the spiritual ears of her heart. Now, her life is built on the Rock, Jesus Christ. It is her prayer that these resources encourage your heart and build you up in love.
- Where
- Susie lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with her husband and two sons. Her daughter lives in Big Pine Key, Florida.
- How
"Teach me Your Way, O LORD, and I will walk in Your Truth, give me an undivided heart that I may fear Your Name. I will praise You, O LORD, my God, with all of my heart; I will glorify Your Name forever. For great is Your love toward me; You have delivered me from the depths of the grave" (Psalm 86:11-13 NIV).
